October 22nd, 2009Fresh Connections receives grants
May 6th, 2009Fresh Connections Co-op has received two grants in the last month to support educational opportunities at the co-op. The Kossuth County Community Foundation provided a grant of $2,400 for consumer classes and IDALS (Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship) recently awarded a grant of nearly $4,000 for the promotion of locally grown crops such as vegetables, fruits, honey, tree nuts and other items.
